1) Sonsbeek & Dutch Water Museum
Arnhem has 13 parks, but the most beautiful and well-known park is Sonsbeek Park. Sonsbeek is located on 10-minutes walking distance from our hotel.There are several walking routes that show you the most beautiful places in the park! In addition, you can also find the Dutch Water Museum in Sonsbeek. In this interactive museum you will learn everything about drinking water, groundwater, dikes and their importance. 2) The Eusebius Church
The Eusebius Church is the largest and most important Protestant church in Arnhem. A visit to this beautiful church takes you on a journey through time: from the 21st century to the early Middle Ages. A visit to the panoramic lift (up to 73 meters high) and the glass balconies should not be missed during your stay. 3) Airborne at the bridge
Airborne at the Bridge is an information center of the Airborne Museum Hartenstein. Just like in the Airborne Museum, the information center tells you the story of The Battle of Arnhem. The Battle of Arnhem was the largest Airborne operation during World War II, which took place in and around Arnhem in September 1944 as part of Operation Market Garden. 4) Historic Cellars
Within a 5-minute walk you can go underground with a visit to the Historic Cellars of Arnhem. These medieval cellars are located among the various shopping streets of the old city center of Arnhem. In total there are 39 cellars. All cellars have been restored and brought back to their original state and connected. 8) Station Arnhem
Opposite Hotel Haarhuis is the impressive Arnhem Central Train Station. The station complex officially opened at the end of 2015 after a construction period of more than 10 years. This ultramodern masterpiece by architect Ben van Berkel not only received a lot of attention from the Dutch media, but there was also a lot of international interest in the futuristic station building. 9) Rijnkade
The "Rijnkade" in Arnhem is a quay with many cozy terraces with a view of the Rhine, nice restaurants and beautiful monuments. The Rijnkade runs between the John Frost Bridge and the Nelson Mandela Bridge. The commemoration of the Battle of Arnhem takes place here every year. 10) Museum Arnhem (opens spring 2022)
Museum Arnhem is a short walk from our hotel. Art lovers will love this beautiful museum. The collection is broadly composed and known by it's most important collection of magical and neo-realists in the Netherlands. In addition, the museum has a high-quality collection of contemporary and applied art and a special collection of jewellery.
